Blood Elf Names: The Complete List

Blood elves are a race of elves that have been corrupted by the Burning Legion. They first appeared in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and have since made appearances in World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and other Blizzard games. Blood elf names are an important part of your character’s identity so we’ve compiled a list for you!

Aegwynn- An allusion to a former Guardian of Tirisfal, Aegwynn.

Alithia- Means “truthful.” This is likely derived from the name Alistair.

Ariella- Means “powerful and noble,” or alternately means “lioness.”

Anveena-“lovely” in Elvish. Arthas- Derived from Sindarin word for ‘bear.’ Azshara-“majestic queen” in Darnassian dialect. Balacgos -means stubborn one; strong willed person; adamantite worker/fighter who won’t give up on their Belanor bears the torch of hope for those who can’t see. She’s a beacon in the night holding Bridenbrad aloft like some miniature sun.

Balnazzar- Means “child of nothing” in Darnassian dialect.

Baelog -Means “sorrowful hero.” Baine Bloodhoof-“one who walks with wolves and speaks to bears,” or alternately means “calfeater.”

Belanor is a name that resonates with echoes from the past, as one faced against impossible odds. A name that inspires others to find hope in their darkest moments; those whose lives have been marked by suffering but continue on regardless, knowing all too well what it’s like to be left for dead only to rise again When it comes to being stronger than before, no-one beats this woman. When she was young, Ezalia lived in hiding.
